When you think of the Wizard of Oz, most people think of Dorothy, the Tin Man, The Scarecrow or the Cowardly Lion. But the Wicked Witch of the West was such a pivotal character of the story that this design attempts to capture that element.
The pattern on the focal piece has the same pattern of what the tornado looked like from the inside. The witch’s castle inspired the wire wrapping mimicking ivy leaves which usually climb the outside walls of most castles. The green color of the stones reflects the familiar skin tone of this famous witch.
The focal piece is a 1.75” moss agate donut wrapped in copper wire in a ivy-leaf design. The 32.5” chain is adjustable up to 34.5” inches and is comprised of pointed oval loops separated by 7mm Aqua Terra Jasper beads. The loops of the chain match the ivy-leaf pattern of the wire-work on the focal piece. The matching earrings have a loop and jasper stone that matches the necklace and they hang 2.5” from the nickel-free ear hooks.
