May 2026 update: Construction on the Library expansion is approximately 98% complete. Remaining work includes the delivery and installation of the new elevator. The elevator installation has been delayed due to the original supplier going out of business and is now anticipated for late August.
The parking lot continues to present challenges for both patrons and staff. Until construction is fully completed, the new parking lot cannot be used, as it remains insured under the construction company’s policy. We have opened 20 more spots in the back past the book drop.
We appreciate the community’s patience and understanding and look forward to celebrating the full expansion of the Library, including the new wing, when it opens in Summer 2026.
