
- David Neumann is a choreographer, dancer, and actor
- Neumann graduated from South Brunswick High School in 1983
- He has taught dance at Julliard, NYU, Princeton, and Yale and is currently a tenured professor at in the Theater department at Sarah Lawrence College
- David is a founding member of Doug Elkins Dance Company
- He has won a Bessie awards in 1991 for his performance as a dancer and in 1998 for his choreography
- Neumann has collaborated with Mikhail Baryshnikov and composer Laurie Anderson
- David has been nominated for a Tony award for his choreography in the Broadway musical “Hadestown” in 2019
