
- Born on September 23rd 1907 on an 83 acre farm that was bought by his father for $2,600 in 1906. The farm was near Deans in the Pigeon Swamp
- Graduated from Rutgers University in 1927
- Dobin worked for the Jewish Agricultural Society that settled and taught Jewish farmers.
He helped many chicken farmers get started in South Brunswick - Mayor of South Brunswick in 1961 and 1965
- Abe Dobin was issued library card number three in 1968 in recognition of his efforts to
establish the library during his years as mayor - Dobin published his memoirs Fertile Fields which is available at the South Brunswick
