Get started with 3D printing at South Brunswick Library
Visit the South Brunswick Library to learn how to use our 3D Printer to make your own 3D objects!
To use the South Brunswick Library’s MakerBot Replicator 3D Printer download the desktop software at https://www.makerbot.com/desktop and install.
To browse the library of 3D objects that can be downloaded and printed on our printer go to Thingiverse.
Once you have downloaded the .STL file from Thingiverse, click on the file and it will automatically open in the Makerbot desktop software where it will give an estimate of the printing time.
Use Tinkercad to alter an existing object or create one from “scratch.”
The cost of printing is $.10 per gram. An estimated cost of printing will be given before the object is printed.
